Tisha's Annaprasanna

Annaprasanna is the day the baby is fed rice(solid food) for the first time and is generally done after a puja (worship). Tisha's took her first formal solid food last Saturday (21-June-2008).

Wow that's quite an event. I see Lipika and Tisha have the 'red dot' between the eyes ... is this something they 'wear' during ceremony?

@Aaron Schmidt: Its vermilion, and usually used during almost all Hindu rituals.
