SpiderPosted by Shuva Brata Deb (Bangalore, India) on 4 September 2008 in Animal & Insect. Spiders are generally 8-legged but this one is a bit different. The web is also special and you see it has made a stronger "X" shaped web just to support itself on it. This was shot near my house. Following the flood near our house, there are lots of insects and wildlife growth in the last few weeks.

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaA scary looking spider. What a great shot. When I viewed the thumbnail I thought it was a ceiling light with a big white cross drawn on the ceiling. Excellent. 4 Sep 2008 5:19am Aaron Schmidt from Auckland, New ZealandWhat a great angle!
