Flooded I

The area around me is flooded due to heavy rains and the lake overflowing beside my house. Our basement is completely flooded and we have to keep our car in the next neighborhood. The car that you see under the bright street lamp is mine. Shot taken from my balcony.

very sorry about the flood. it seems rude to say that it provided an opportunity for an excellent photo, but...it did. i really like this shot.

A wonderful photo Shuva and the reflections are great, but I bet you are wishing that there weren't any reflections in your street where water should not be. So sorry about the flood in your home. Such an awful experience. Stay safe and hopefully things will be back right before long.

heard hyderabad has more rains this year..i can see the make-shift bridge towards the right...i remember crossing it 2 years ago when you had this same flood, and i feared i would fall into the water :-)....hope the li'l angel is cosy at home despite the rains...anyway, nice photo...reminds me of good old hyderabad.

At one time, I had ambitions of living near water . . but I've since seen enough flooding to make me glad I never did. Hope everyone is safe.
