New love in my life

Me and my wife Lipika have been blessed with a lovely baby girl last Saturday (16-Feb-2008). Both mother and baby are doing well. This is a very happy moment of my life and I am quite thrilled with the onset of parenthood.
The last few days has been quite exciting for me. Its very rare of her to keep her eyes wide open as in this one but she did give me few nice poses -- more pictures to follow.

Whoohoo! Congratulations! She looks absolutely adorable. She's got the same hair on her forehead that Solen had. I hope the next few photos will fill us in on more details ... like what's her name!?

WOW! What a beautiful Indian Lady! Congratulations to you and dear beautiful Lipika. I like her pose very much. She looks so clever and curious.
I think I see her forehead and eyes a little yellow. I hope I made a mistake. But show her to the doctor. Don't worry. I wish many beautiful years of health and success for your family.

@Soodabeh: Are you a doctor? If not, I think you are qualified to be one. Yes, you are right on that yellow color. In fact she was taken away by the doctor for jaundice treatment just a few hours after I took this picture. She was placed under ultra-violet light for 24 hours after which she became normal. Thanks for all the wishes -- my wife was amazed that you made such a remarkable observation.

Oh Shuva and Lipika, she is just darling. My goodness I am a bit surprised at this early arrival but very excited for you both all the same. Maybe now we can have a "baby photo promotion" with all our new arrivals. Can't wait to hear her name and see more photos. I like the way she is looking at the camera as if to say.."what are you doing?" Can't wait to see more!

Congratulations! What a little beauty! Not to worry about the small amount of jaundice. It is
probably what is known as physiological jaundice of the newborn. Very common and easily treated by the UV light that they put the baby under. I am an RN and have seen this many times. I am sure that her physician is doing exactly the right thing for her. She is beautiful and I hope to see many photos of her on
