yup - they are pipes! Interesting choice on the vertical, seems like something Aaron would do! I hope you took some close up detail shots of the pipe patterns. Looks like a fun subject.

By the way - I do see what you mean about the horizon being noticeable. One thing I would do in this situation is maybe gradiate the sky so it gets darker towards the horizon and it is easier to blend with the trees. Sometimes you can find a line of clouds so that it is not noticeable if it gets darker (or lighter) in different sections of the sky.

nice pipe arangements :D .. when the photo was updating it seemed like the sky wasn't ending :P but then the pipes appeared and i figured out the purpose of the shot.
