Love the tone too. 19 Jul 2007 7:09pm Amit from Santa Clara, United StatesVery nice shot...from any angle it does not seems to be an India country side... 19 Jul 2007 9:03pm eydryan from Bucharest, Romaniagreat landscape, and while the editing is a bit obvious it's really great nonetheless :) 19 Jul 2007 11:22pm Jason Kravitz from Brussels, BelgiumThis one has a great range of tones especially in B&W. I like the big tree against the cloudy sky and the bikes add a nice subject. My only complaint would be a bit of a halo around the tree. Lately instead of pure HDR I've been hand combining images using layers and brush. I will export two versions from RAW file from lightroom and usually put the lighter one on top of a darker one so I can paint in details. This gives more control than photomatix type programs and can help keep halo effect down Although for this tree you have a lot of little pieces so it would be very time consuming! 20 Jul 2007 7:55am @Jason Kravitz: Thanks for the tip. I have tried one last evening, but selecting the finer angles requires lots of patience. My Monday's post is a result of this, but I did not like the overall result so much. You can see the imperfection on the horizon. zoloper from Bucuresti, Romaniathis is nice .. the use of b/w really helps in here ;) 20 Jul 2007 2:37pm @zoloper: You are right about this. It sure is a bit of a distraction. I should have moved to the left or the right a bit. ally! from Singapore, Singaporei love the PP you did here. very dramatic result. 21 Jul 2007 6:20am |
