I find the position good, and the background too. The light is perfect. Did you use reflectors or several sources of light ?

@Hervé: It was all natural light coming through the door and the glass was hand held.
I have not been keeping up with your smoke and glass (or taking my own smoke and glass shots for that matter).
I can't tell if I like this going out of the frame or not - cool colors and toning though.
