Smoke Art III/VI

Posted by Shuva Brata Deb (Bangalore, India) on 25 April 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual.

..continuing from my yesterday's post, here is today's smoke art post.

Many photographers add a colored layer to get an extra effect. As an example see the posts by Jamella's Aminus3 posts. Other similar examples can also be found at Mark Primavera's smoke portfolio web site. Colors add another character to smoke patterns. I personally find them better at their natural colors however. Almost all smoke contain a little bit of blue which you can make it vivid by pushing up the Blue channel's saturation level in photoshop.
