Smoke Art I/VI : The dancePosted by Shuva Brata Deb (Bangalore, India) on 23 April 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual. We see smoke everyday from cigarettes, fire, blown out candles, etc. The thing that we normally dont notice are the finer details of the unique and exquisite patterns that each smoke produce. These patterns are left to the viewer's interpretation. This whole week I will post smoke pictures from insense sticks. There are hardly any post processing, except for a little sharpening, a little increase in the shadows to make the bg completely black and a slight crank of the saturation. The most important post processing however was rotation of the canvas(by 90/180/270 degrees) and cropping. Hope you will like them.
