I heard that in India the bangle has a special significance. Would it be possible for you to explain?

@Dornbrau: Yeah! They are generally considered as a symbol of marriage. All married Hindu women wear bangles and they are always worn in pairs(even numbered). Unmarried girls also wear them just for the sake of it, but widows among the Hindu never wear bangles. The origin however dates back to the old Vedic age, where it was just a fashionable item and had nothing to do with marriage.

really nice colors! In IRAN we use only gold bngles and it is general amongst Iranian women to wear such gold bangles, earings, necklaces, bracelets and.....
even baby girla wear these!!
it's not related to marriage. even my 3 years old daughter wears those! It's a common custom.
