The caring family bondPosted by Shuva Brata Deb (Bangalore, India) on 5 February 2007 in Animal & Insect. This was shot at Monkey Point, Lonavala. It was the rainy season and at a high altitude like this the fog would just come and go preventing the tourists from seeing the scenic beauty. This scene just took my attention like hell and they will pretty friendly to me to allow me to get closer and take a couple of shots. Another shot of these two kids playing is here.

Bronnie from Christchurch, New Zealandso cute! Not so sure I'd want them very close to me - they have a bit of a reputation for fleas and lice from what I recall! And thievery! 5 Feb 2007 5:39am Manuela Photography from Hainburg (near Frankfurt/Main), GermanyLovely catch, Shuva! 5 Feb 2007 8:40am Helen from Melbourne, AustraliaMy first reaction was "how cute" but when I looked at the parents expressions, and how they are prottecting their young, they reminded me of underpriveleged people in a queue. It is a little sad. 5 Feb 2007 11:29am Jason Kravitz from Brussels, Belgiumsweet little family - I see what Helen is saying although I dunno if these monkey's really would consider this. Life is instinctual to them and keeping the kids in the pocket is what instinct is doing right now. 5 Feb 2007 12:13pm adalove from Alcala de Guadaira, SpainThey´re lovely! Good composition, I like them in a side. 5 Feb 2007 4:51pm Daniel from United StatesVery cute. Of course it might be a good idea with these critter, but you might try a bit of fill flash to balance out the light a tad. Cheers! 6 Feb 2007 2:38am kapil from trivandrum, Indiawow, really nice1......thank u so much for sharing!!! u have an eye that wanders and that captures!!! 21 Feb 2007 9:38am |
