thank you for listening. its nice to know people are open to suggestions here. thats something you would think would be a given characteristic but its actually hard to find.
As for this picture, i like the angle you took. Usually cropping bits off the head doesnt work....but it does in this picture. you do a good job of capturing her essence. You know you've done a good job when your veiwer reacts to your picture. Anytime some one reacts, youve succeeded.
This picture makes me want to know more. Its a little blown out but other than that great job.

Great portait, and use of depth of field. I'm glad you didnt sharpen it too much. This portait has a feel of softness to it.
