Continuing with my series with school children....here is this chap who does seem to have a very close friend. It reminds me of my best buddy at school. Those good old days.

Good capture. A little greenish cast, though, no?

This shot is nice, but in a way thats all your offering with this image, It's not bad but its not great either.....one thing you focused on was the two friends, but one of them is hardly in the picture....maybe take a step back, widen your aperture. Always try to find a different way to capture people. When you look at a child, your almost always looking down(their usually shorter)....take a knee, look at them as they see themselves, thats how you'll portray them to the rest of the world as well. Another thing is portaits. Anyone can look at a camera and smile, but this picture is a little unique. The friend looks as if soming caught his attention the moment you snapped the picture. I'm sure you've seen the famous photo by Sam Abel taken of 4 Irish boys in Dublin trying to catch their horse. Right as they caught the horse and were posing for a pic, a car honked and all 4 boys looked to the side, maing an amazing image. The right frame in your picture could have done the same thing.
