Knowledge, my future.

Last Thrusday I and some of our colleagues went one of the schools that my company was sponsoring as a socially conscious corporate body. The children in the school are mostly unpriviledged, struggling to make a place for themselves in the future. Apart from some formal stuff, we also celebrated Depawali (festival of lights) and had a great experience migling with them. I was shooting lots of pictures and this girl was standing all alone leaning on the wall for some reason. I have a series of pictures that are all llined up for this week and the next.

I always like spending time with kids. Anytime we go out for outreach in school the kids are always so joyful and they're fun to be with. They also love to be photographed and are amazed when you show them the results from the LCD panel.

I wish I had my digital camera before when we had went on such trips.

About your photo, I think it's ok but it makes me feel like I have to see the girl's face.

It's strange how I know nothing of the situation - but I can see so many emotions depicting the girls face - that I can hardly see.

The photo makes me wonder what she's thinking. Nice shot.
