Aquarium at the Cochin airport.Posted by Shuva Brata Deb (Bangalore, India) on 30 August 2006 in Plant & Nature. The airport at Cochin had a beautiful aquarium, few beautiful fishes, and most importantly well lighted. I was alsmost done with all my 1Gb and the 512MB CF cards(I was waiting for my flight back home). I had to delete a few RAW images and shoot JPEGs at the airport. One bad thing with the RAW format in Canon cameras(atleat in Rebel XT) is that it does not allow you to choose medium or small image sizes. There are times when I realy dont want the RAW image to be full resolution(~8MB), but I cannot ask the camera to reduce the image size and save some space. Something for Canon to consider probably, expecially when they are moving to more higher mega pixels cameras.

Jason Kravitz from Brussels, BelgiumGuess that is why it is a raw image ;-) you are getting the full sensor information - if you shrink it down you are losing information which defeats the purpose of a RAW I like the color of this coral 30 Aug 2006 6:33am Suby from MK, United KingdomOkay I have been neglecting visiting for a while (bad Suby), Just not had as much time to blog as usual. Anyway to the shot I go, it makes my skin crawl just looking at the green thingy, eeeeccccck & yuck. I like the simplicity in this capture, and the lighting does work as well. Taken through a glass? One would not even guess. Suby 30 Aug 2006 12:12pm Ashish Sidapara from Singapore, SingaporeSuperb shot, the details/colors are amazing !! 30 Aug 2006 3:15pm Sidney from PhilippinesThis is beautiful!
