Nadege from Issy les Moulineaux, FranceNice monkeys family. It's shame that it's froggy when you come to visit. 7 Aug 2006 6:11am Aaron Schmidt from Auckland, New ZealandIn such a natural environment, it's funny to see them sitting on something man-made. By the way, Humans didn't "come from" monkeys. Humans have a common ancestor with monkeys (i.e. both species are descendent from one ancestor that lived ~30 million years ago). Our closest relative is the chimpanzee, having a common ancestor with us at around 6 million years ago, then the Apes (7 million years), Orangutans, old world monkeys, new world monkeys, and so on. 7 Aug 2006 6:19pm Steve Kravitz from United StatesI'm impressed with the Darwin lesson from Aaron. 8 Aug 2006 12:52am Jason Kravitz from Brussels, BelgiumGreat animal expression - too bad the "animal" theme of the ISS photo club starts this week instead of back then cuz this is a winner! 9 Aug 2006 7:31am |
