Sikandra: walkway

Posted by Shuva Brata Deb (Bangalore, India) on 13 July 2006 in Architecture.

Sikandra is the Akbar, the great's tomb garden at Agra. This is a walkway around the great building which holds the tomb of the great emperor. I will try to post some more pictures of this place this week.

Another nice HDR ... I like this effect in B&W.

Hee! This is not an HDR. A gradient map layer and a channel mixer layer for b/w work and very high (unusually high) unsharpen mask.

Nice black and white shot.

I like the trees in the background - the walkway leading to the great tree. It seems a bit overexposed to me - was this the desired effect?

The trees look like an eden surrounded by light at the end of the way... or an illusion sent by a bad Djiin to catch you in a little bottle for centuries...

Love the textures. I think the really high USM helped here.
