Bouganvilla zoom in!

The technique employed here is very common, but for those who dont know, it involves holding you camera as still as possible (a tripod is better, but this shot did not require one) and choose a show shutter speed( 1/15 in this case). Then start zooming your lens and as you do so, press your shutter down without shake. This requires a little practice, and both zoom-in and zoom-out produces interesting results. Remember to keep the main subject in the center. In this post, I cropped and placed the subject off center. Some examples already existing in aminus3 are:

good idea cropping it to the side. The black frame around the photo is a good touch too for your B&W processing - adds to the overall black contrast. I like it.
