Golconda Fort is one of the most magnificent fortress complexes in India. It is located on the outskirts of the city of Hyderabad. The history of Golconda Fort dates back to the early 13th century, when this south eastern part of the country was ruled by the Kakatiyas. The bulk of the ruins of this fort, date from the time of the Qutab Shahi kings, who had ruled this area in the 16th and 17th century. Golconda city remained the capital of the Qutab Shahis from 1512 to 1590, from where they later shifted it to Hyderabad.
For the next couple of days I am gonna post more pictures of the ruins.

Heheh ... I was so used to seeing flowers I had to double check if this was Shuva's site. ;) Great sunlight contrast on the ruins with a nice blue, blue sky as background.

The blue sky is a work of PhotoShop. The print that I have has a nice blue sky, but my scanner always seems to create lines when it find a strecth of a plain color. See this: Paratrooper.

For the moment, the href only works with double quotes. But I plan on upgrading the comment system soon to fully integrate BBCode. bold [a http://my.site.com] etc.
